Collection: TISSURA
The TISSURA collection (ⵜⵉⵙⵙⵓⵔⴰ), an Amazigh word meaning "superposition," explores the graphic potential of writing through a daily object: the plate.
Each piece is conceived as a three-dimensional typographic composition, where Arabic and Tifinagh letters become shapes, rhythms, and textures.
The project begins with a simple principle: creating handcrafted tableware that is functional, aesthetic, and meaningful. By playing with the layering of letters and colors, the plates in the TISSURA collection offer infinite variations of motifs—sometimes abstract, sometimes evocative of faces or symbols. The result is graphic, vibrant, and always unique.
Made in Morocco by master potters and ceramic painters, these plates are hand-shaped in a spirit of sustainable production and respect for local know-how. Typography is hand-applied with ceramic paint before firing.
TISSURA thus embodies IZRI’s desire to create a dialogue between letter and matter, heritage and modernity—through objects that carry memory while looking boldly toward the future.
